Location: The hotel is conveniently located near local amenities and a short drive away from the nearest town, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. Spaciousness: The room was much bigger than expected, offering plenty of space to relax and unwind. The pictures online definitely don't do it justice.Warm and friendly host: The host was welcoming and accommodating, ensuring that we had a comfortable stay.
Low ceilings and narrow staircase: The upstairs area may be a challenge for taller individuals or those with back issues due to the low ceilings and narrow staircase. Head bumps were frequent and carrying a suitcase upstairs was not easy.

The hotel was spotlessly clean and had comfortable beds, including a sofa bed in the living room. The shower was excellent and the towels provided were nice and soft. The location of the Annexe was convenient for visiting South Lakes zoo. Despite some minor drawbacks, such as the low ceiling in the bedroom and the lack of a hob in the kitchenette, I found the overall space to be sufficient for four people.

The host was excellent and made sure we had everything we needed. The hotel was well-equipped with comfortable beds and plenty of bedding and towels. We enjoyed the lovely garden area, a perfect sun trap. The host even provided board games, puzzles, and access to Netflix for entertainment.
One drawback was that the local amenities were not as advertised, with many pubs in the area being closed. The nearest town was also quite a distance away.

With Coniston and Windermere being just a short drive away, we had the opportunity to visit stunning lakes and enjoy breathtaking views. The cleanliness of the rooms, including the bathroom, was exceptional. The property provided a selection of board games and toys, which kept our little ones entertained throughout our stay. The well-equipped kitchenette, with its assortment of plates, glasses, and cutlery, made it easy for us to prepare simple meals for the family.

My recent stay at the Annexe in Ulverston was a lovely and comfortable experience. The downstairs area was spacious and well-maintained, providing a cozy atmosphere. The beds and mattresses in the upstairs bedroom were of high quality, ensuring a good night's sleep.
Although the entrance door and Velux blinds could have been better equipped with stick-on shades or proper blinds, the overall cleanliness and nice touches in the property made up for it.

The hotel had a spacious downstairs area and comfortable beds upstairs. We appreciated the heating being on when we arrived and the fact that pets were allowed. The location was convenient for exploring Ulverston and the nearby attractions. We also enjoyed the use of the sofa bed in the living area, very comfortable. The hotel had everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen area.
A specific situation we experienced was the frustration with the TV freezing. we found the iPlayer to be a better option for watching programmes.

I had a fantastic budget stay in this cozy cottage. the location was perfect, with South Lakes Safari Zoo and Windermere within easy reach. the host was attentive and helpful, ensuring a pleasant experience. the cottage was immaculately clean, and the shower was excellent. the assortment of board games and access to Netflix were great for family entertainment. the view from the windows in the morning was beautiful. the kitchenette, though lacking a hob, had a microwave, mini oven, air fryer.
The sensitive smoke alarm, which would go off even while toasting.
